Hi there! I’m Teresa Feliciano, founder and principal designer of The Well Dressed Room, a veteran-owned interior design firm serving Hardin County and the surrounding Kentucky communities. I believe a beautifully designed home should do more than look exceptional – it should reflect who you are, support the way you live, and bring a sense of comfort every time you walk through the door.
I came to Kentucky as an Army Logistics Officer stationed at Fort Knox. My family and I fell in love with this community, and we’ve called Elizabethtown home ever since. Years of managing logistics taught me something that shapes my design business every single day: the value of accuracy, timeliness, and genuine service. It also gave me a deep sense of purpose in showing up for people – and that’s exactly what I bring to every design project. I studied at the New York Institute of Art and Design and hold an MBA, and I bring both sides of that to every project: an eye for rich texture, layered color, and timeless details, and the discipline to actually deliver on the vision.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me working out or planning our next trip! I’ve explored five of the seven continents, with the last two firmly on my bucket list. I also serve as Vice President of the Elizabethtown Women’s Club, where I help coordinate events and fundraisers supporting local charities.
At the end of the day, I don’t take myself too seriously. I love to laugh, meet new people, and I’m a firm believer in lifelong learning – there’s always something new to discover, whether it’s a design trend, a new destination, or a great conversation with a client who’s becoming a friend.
